HTI believes it has been successful in the highly competitive procurement process within the UK public sector because the NHS Trusts chose an innovative approach – one of long-term partnership – rather than contracting with a standard facility contractor or equipment manufacturer.

HTI has strong relationships with key oncology players worldwide. In addition to former clients and leading clinicians and organizations, HTI also has excellent relationships with equipment and supply vendors, industry trade groups and other oncology professionals. This network of relationships, combined with a team that is experienced in the PFI bid process and is focused specifically on oncology, is what sets HTI apart from its competitors and allows it to bring a unique vendor-independent and innovative “value added” services to its projects and partners.

Some of the partners are:

  • PFI/PPP partners and leading construction firms in the United Kingdom, including Catalyst Lend Lease, Bovis Lend Lease, H&J Martin, and Graham.
  • Quality private healthcare partners such as InterHealth Canada, Columbia/HC and Aspen Healthcare – three of the largest private healthcare systems in England.
  • Government agencies in the United States such as the U.S. National Cancer Institute and the National Institutes of Health.
  • Academic and major research institutions in over half of the states in the union including Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
  • Private hospitals providing care ranging from tertiary level facilities treating extremely rare cancers to community-based hospitals where more than 95% of cancers can be treated.
  • Professional organizations such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the largest professional society for oncologists in the world, and the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), the largest clinical research group in the world.
  • ProCure is a full service proton therapy center developer and operator.
  • Nova Healthcare is a new name in cancer care and treatment - but one with a proven track record of clinical success and innovation.
