In addition to partnering in the SPV, HTI served as the lead technology advisor for this £60 million comprehensive diagnostic treatment centre and advised on comprehensiveness of programs and services.  HTI provided several variant alternatives for the Trust's consideration in the PFI, including the addition of an interim facility to enable the Trust to improve delivery of care prior to completion of the new centre.  HTI assisted in both the design and development of the comprehensive centre. 

HTI is currently the Managed Equipment Services (MES) provider and staffs a Help Desk within the Cancer Centre to manage the major equipment and technology issues, updates and life cycle replacement.  The major equipment compliment includes 8 Varian linear accelerators, 1 Varian Simulator, 1GE CT SImulator, 1 Nucletron HDR, 2 GE CTs, 1 GE MRI, 1 GE General X-Ray, 1 GE Mobile X-Ray, 1 GE Digital Chest, 1 GE Interventional/Fluoroscopy, 1 Toshiba Ultrasound, 2 GE Gamma Cameras, GE RIS/PACS system, 2 Kodak CR Systems.
